Based in Wallsend, Tyne & Wear, Poseidon Sub Aqua Club is a small friendly club that was formed in 1974 to develop opportunities for safe and organised diving around the local coast and also further affield.
The membership has varying interests from marine biology to wreck & technical diving and members diving qualifications range from student to Advanced Diver.
Full training can be provided by The Club's instructors in accordance with BSAC rules.
The Club owns a fully equipped 5.3m RIB with 90HP engine and actively organises both boat and shore diving, locally and along the North East coast. We also organise longer trips within the UK and abroad on a regular basis.
New members are most welcome and an introductory dive in the pool can be arranged with prior notice at a cost of £10 for two sessions.
